The patient most likely has benign familial fleck retina. The relatively symmetric lesions suggest an inherited disorder. The patient is scheduled for genetic testing at Columbia University. In addition to Dr. Stephen Tsang, Dr. Tony Moore at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London found the gene for this or a very similar condition and has offered to do DNA testing as well.1 Our patient has been scheduled for an ERG and genetic testing. A future RR will reveal follow-up info on this.
