Case 11: Optomap® Color Fundus Image OD
Case 11: A middle aged optometrist presented for imaging at a major meeting. Since losing his central vision, he
has specialized in low vision. BCVA was reported to be in the 20/400 range OU. The fundus is unusual for retinal
degenerations like RP since disorders like RP begin in the mid periphery and spread in both directions. In this case,
the mid periphery is the best preserved area and the macula and far periphery are primarily affected.
