Case 2: Optomap plus with ResmaxTM Color Image OD

Case 2: An 82 yo BF presented with blurry vision OU. Patient reported several photopsias ranging from “a black wavy line” to visual distortions, all of which last 10-20 minutes with episodes every 1 to 2 months. She reported the visual disturbances occurred during times of stress or fatigue. The patient had cataract surgery in 1999 with a history of mild PCO OU since 2010. BCVAs were 20/30 in both eyes, most likely due to the PCO. Posterior pole examination with Optos Ultra-Widefield Color photography revealed pigmentary changes following the inferior arcades and arterial narrowing. 30-2 VFs revealed superior visual field defects corresponding to retinal changes.
