Ocular complication of AV Malformation
Although usually non-progressive, retinal arteriovenous anomalies can be associated with the following complications:3
- Intraretinal macular hemorrhage
- Intraretinal hemorrhages outside the macula
- Neovascular glaucoma
- Vitreous hemorrhage
- Central and branch retinal vein occlusion
- Retinal exudation
