Case 1:

 

History and Chief Complaint:

  • 67-year-old male presents complaining of sudden onset of floaters OS.
  • Symptoms started the day prior and denies any flashes or changes in vision
  • PMHx: +T2DM for 8 years
  • HgA1c: 8.3 (1 month prior)

Exam:

  • BCVA: 20/25 OD and OS on pinhole
  • EOMs, CVF, and Pupils: unremarkable
  • Trace Nuclear Sclerotic Cataract
  • PVD OS, Shafer negative, retina attached 360 OU
