Two months after treatment with Iodine plaque, the lesion appeared slightly smaller and less dense. Uncorrected VA and IOPs were essentially unchanged. Slit lamp revealed the conjunctiva to be well healed at the location of where the plaque was placed and then later removed. Review of systems was also unchanged (Eczema, insomnia, hypothyroidism. high cholesterol levels all unlikely related to the malignant melanoma. ) Dilated eye examination failed to reveal radiation retinopathy, neovascularization of the disc and elsewhere, or vein occlusion- all possible sequelae of the treatment.
