Diagnosis: Ciliary Body Melanoma

 

  • Primary ciliary body melanoma arises from melanocytes in the uveal tract.
  • Three cell types: spindle A, spindle B, epithelioid.
  • Epithelioid cells associated with more aggressive behavior and poorer prognosis for patient survival
