Daughter, S, now age 18:
She started college in another state when she called to report that her left eye suddenly developed metamorphopsia, blur, and central color distortion
She was seen within a few days by a retina specialist near her school who determined the left eye did develop CNV and she was given first injection of Eylea that day OS. Result of FA was OS “staining consistent with CNV and subretinal fibrosis”. OD did not show any leakage.
She came home from college 3 weeks later when I again evaluated her in my office
