Using the iWellness Exam protocol, the GCC appears normal. A review of the 26 retinal sections failed to reveal any abnormality. DIAGNOSIS: The normal VEP suggests that the visual pathway up until Brodmann’s Area 17 (or Visual Cortex 1) is intact. Since our patient has some form of visual agnosia, association visual cortex (Area 18 &19) is suspect. The normal pattern VEP indicates a normal retina, optic nerve and visual pathway and hence improvement in subjective VA is certainly still possible.
