Samantha Slotnick, 0.0., has diverse training in both functional and structural visual disorders, with a special interest in applications of technology in clinical research. She is an accomplished lecturer and author, leading seminars and workshops on vision training for patients with Strabismus.

After graduating from SUNY College of Optometry, she completed a residency in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation, also at SU NY, along with advanced studies in Vision Science. Currently, she divides her time between private practice in behavioral optometry,

clinical research at SUNY Optometry, and serves as a research consultant for Manhattan Vision Associates Institute for Vision Research. Dr. Slotnick sits on the Peer Review Board of Optometry and Vision Development, the quarterly publication of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She is on the organizational board of the Eastern States Optometric Congress, and is an active member of the New York State Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
