Case 10: Topcon 3D OCT Raster Scan Images
SD-OCT reveals a discontinuous PIL and pigment migration corresponding to the pisciform yellow deposits (red circles). The macula was extremely attenuated and several retinal layers were missing. The missing/attenuated RPE in the macula unmasks Brush’s membrane which is typically not easily visualized in OCT cross-sections.
