Cirrus™ HD-OCT

  • An OCT section through the hypoautofluorescent oval zone revealed a sharply delineated rectangular hyporeflective space in the right eye. The hyporeflective space had an absent photoreceptor integrity line (PIL) (see page 9) and some apparent decrease signal from the outer nuclear layer, but all other structures appeared intact.
  • An OCT section through the hypoautofluorescent zone in the left eye revealed a hyporeflective space with an absent PIL. However, the hyporeflective space in the left eye had a collapsed appearance compared to the right eye.
