The RNFL is asymmetric in a similar manner. This is true with both the circumpapillary RNFL thickness as measured with SD OCT and also with the GDx. (See RR #34, for comparisons of SD OCT and GDx RNFL scans) Sometimes, GCC does not agree with RNFL measurements. This important topic will be covered in a future RR.
