Corneal thickness was measured with the iVue OCT and found to be normal. Since glaucoma is an unlikely diagnosis, what else should we consider? As mentioned earlier, an optic nerve glioma in NF patients is not rare. A literature review reviews that 15% of patients with NF have an optic nerve glioma.2

MRIs have been ordered in an attempt to confirm the presence of choroidal lesions and to hopefully rule out an optic nerve or pathway glioma.
