- This week’s case involves a 27-year-old black female with no visual symptoms and 20/20 VA in each eye. Panoramic ophthalmoscopy with optos® detected peripheral abnormalities and optos® FA revealed dramatic documentation of large areas of capillary avascularity and several areas of “sea fan” peripheral neovascularization in each eye.
