Case 2: Topcon 3D OCT OU
The PIL is essentially normal only under the macula OU. The normal or nearly normal PIL suggests that the central photoreceptors, which are nearly entirely cones, are still relatively intact but that the rods, found outside the macula, appear to be lost.
