Case 2: Annidis MSI Color and Optos Color OS

Note that the Optos color composite (left image) reveals the asteroid hyalosis but the Annidis color composite does not. Asteroid hyalosis occurs throughout the vitreous and often prevents the retina from being viewed in detail. MSI has a very narrow depth of field and hence media opacities anterior to the retina/choroid tend to be much less of a problem than with conventional imaging. RPE migration in AMD can be documented with SD OCT and imaged with MSI.
