Case 3: Annidis MSI Infrared and Optos uwf AF OD
The pigmentary changes noted on the MSI IR are most likely due to melanin clumping or stacking. The AF, which reflects abnormalities in the aging pigment lipofuscin (LF), appears normal. Note that melanin stacking can occur with normal LF as revealed with AF.
