Case 49: Case 1: Optomap Color Fundus Image OD

Case 1: A 29 year old black male presents with sudden, painless loss of vision in his right eye for the past week or so. Upon questioning, he reveals that he has had sickle cell anemia for as long as he can remember and that he had a “stomach virus or food poisoning” at the time his vision was lost. Best corrected VA was finger counting in the right eye and 20/20 in the left eye. Most, but not all of the retina in the right eye revealed a grey white cloudy swelling.
