Introduction

• While the exact cause of CSCR remains unknown, certain risk factors, including stress, corticosteroid use, and hypertension, have been implicated.
• It has been suggested there is a relationship between CSCR and Type A personality, notably that the accompanying stress and aggression releases catecholamine, which increases choroidal permeability.
• Prevalence: Men > Women, commonly occurs between the ages of 20 to 45 years.
• Symptoms include complaints of distorted images and blurred vision.
