With regards to the parapapillary retinal nerve fiber thickness, the papillomacular bundle (as estimated by the RNFL in the temporal quadrant) is quite thin (48 microns OD and 45 microns OS) and is the most abnormal of the 4 quadrants. This pattern is not typical of glaucoma and more typical of one of several non-glaucomatous optic neuropathies.
