Case 2: Visual Field Test 24-2 OU
The visual fields are profoundly abnormal in each eye with good fixation. Normal/low tension glaucoma sometimes shows a central field loss, due to a reduction in the papillomacula bundle fibers. However, the reduction in the papillomacula bundle thickness is also often due to a secondary non-glaucomatous optic neuropathy. A comprehensive systemic work-up is presently under way. Drops to lower the IOPs have been prescribed.
