Case 5: Optovue iVue OCT Image OD
X-Linked Retinoschisis
An iVue SD OCT through the fovea of a patient with a
clinical diagnosis of X-Linked Retinoschisis with genetic
confirmation. Note the attenuation of the macula,
several retinal splits and a poorly visualized PIL in the
macula area. The schisis here is far more subtle than in
most cases of X-Iinked Retinoschisis. A future Retina
Revealed will highlight a group of patients with this
disorder in detail.
