The top left image demonstrates the actual mfERG in one specific normal subject. The bottom left image compares these results to the normative database. The central hill in the top left image from a normal subject demonstrates the increased sensitivity of the macula. According to the color code in the lower left image, the normal subject varies very little from the normative database (+/- l standard deviation) with regard to the mfERG amplitudes.
The mfERG patient is shown in the top right. When compared to the normative database, the patient shows very little variation from the norm with regard to the mfERG amplitudes as shown in the lower right image. The mfERGs in the right eye were similar.
