Fundus Photography OD

History. A 72-year-old black male presented with vision loss in his right eye in the upper visual field first
noticed nearly a week earlier. He was under treatment for both diabetes and hypertension and was also a
glaucoma suspect. VA cc was 20/25 RE and 20/20 LE. The fundus image above left was taken at the time of
presentation. A fluorescein angiogram was obtained about a week later and demonstrated delayed filling of
the inferior retinal artery RE and consequently of the inferior retinal veins as depicted in the above right image
taken during the venous phase of the FA. 1
