Case 2: Optos® Fluorescein Angiography Sickle Cell Retinopathy
Another case of sickle cell retinopathy imaged with Optos® FA is demonstrated above. Note the similar zones of capillary avascularity (red arrows) and “sea fan” (red circle) to Case 1. Neovascularization occurs at the border of perfused and non-perfused retina.
