The large lesion in the left eye had substantial leakage, zones of avascularity, and aneurysmal dilatations. The patient was diagnosed with Coats-like Peripheral Retinopathy. Recent genetic testing revealed the patient has Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy (FSHD) which is known to be associated with Coats-like retinopathy.
