Case 1: B-Scan Images Of
Right and Left Eye

The B-scan of the right eye revealed highly
reflective deposits on the optic nerve head
corresponding to the optic disc drusen. Optic
disc drusen often contain calcium, which
make them visible at lower B-scan sensitivity
settings because of their increased acoustic
density. For additional information on optic
disc drusen and B-scan from a previous issue

The large inferior retinoschisis in the left eye
was also shown using B-scan as a split in the
neurosensory retina.
