History/Chief Complaint

  • A 46-year-old male presented with complaints of reduced vision. Patient stated his vision had been blurred for as long as he could remember.

Clinical Findings

  • BCVA 20/40 OD 20/70 OS
  • Retractive Error +11.00 OD +11.50 OS
  • Goldmann IOP 11 OU
  • Fundus Exam: Three contiguous retinoschisis (RS) lesions in the inferior temporal region of the right eye. One large inferior bullous retinoschisis in the left eye. Disc drusen found in both eyes. No visible holes or tears in the retina OU.

B-Scan

  • B-scan revealed disc drusen in both eyes.
  • Large inferior retinoschisis in the left eye.

Optos®

  • Three contiguous retinoschisis in the inferior temporal region of the right eye and one large inferior bullous retinoschisis in the left eye.
  • Disc drusen revealed in both eyes.
