The optomap® image above reveals a bullous elevation of the semi-transparent retina into the vitreal cavity. It appears somewhat green because the green laser light is scattered more than the red laser light. Note the many retinal folds within the RRD. That same day, the patient was treated with pneumatic retinopexy using gas (C₃F₈).
