Note the abnormal appearance of the macula OS often referred to as a “scrambled egg” lesion. The yellow appearance prior to scrambling is likely due to an accumulation of lipofuscin between the neurosensory retina and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE).3,4 Intraretinal hemorrhaging and pigmentary changes are also apparent.
