Case 1: Optovue iWellness Exam

Above is the iWellness Exam summary of both eyes from a 65-year-old, white asymptomatic male with BCVA of 20/20 R.E. and 20/20 L.E. The horizontal and vertical sections through the fovea appear normal in each eye. However, the Ganglion Cell Complex (GCC) appears normal in the L.E., but especially thin in the R.E. inferiorly. Note the 19 micron (u) difference between superior (96u) and inferior (77u) GCC thickness measurements. Also note the 18u difference between the inferior GCC thickness R.E. vs L.E. See RR #28 (Pages 29-30), to learn the fundamentals of GCC.
