Case 2: Optomap® Color Fundus Image of Right Eye
Case 2: An asymptomatic 54-year-old patient was referred for evaluation of a lesion superior temporal in the left eye that was noted during binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy (BIO). BCVA measured 20/20 OU.
Optomap® images confirmed the lesion in the left eye, but also revealed an elevated lesion in the inferior temporal quadrant in the right eye which was missed by four examiners utilizing BIO.
B-scan ultrasound confirmed the presence of a retinoschisis in both the right and left eye.
