Case 2: Optomap® Fundus Image Comparison of Right Eye

Note the retinal vessel appears thicker within the
area of the RS in the inferior temporal quadrant of
the right eye. Retinal vessels in the
periphery that appear thicker in the
optomap® images are likely
associated with an elevated lesion.
This could be due to the retinal
vessels being anterior to the retinal
plane and now causing a shadowing effect.
