Case 3: Topcon 3D OCT  Fundus Image Of Left Eye  

The left eye revealed similar areas of
pigmentation throughout the mid-
periphery and attenuated retinal
vessels. The bone-spicule
pigmentation was not as dense in the
left eye and cystoid marcular edema
(CME) was also noted.

It has been reported by one study that
38% of RP patients have CME in at
least one eye.6Treatment with
systemic or topical carbonic anhydrase
inhibitors is sometimes effective. 7
