Case 1: Topcon 3D OCT Scan Images OD Pseudo macroaneurysm contrasted to real one.
An authentic macroaneurysm from a different patient Three slightly different horizontal OCT sections reveal a lesion that appears to contain a lumen. This unusual vessel is one of several macroaneurysms detected on FA which are sometimes found in hypertensive retinopathy. A true macroaneurysm has a hyperreflective wall on OCT whereas a cyst does not.

Case 1 Optomap® Fluorescein Angography Image OU
Case 1 Optomap® Fluorescein Angiography Image OD Much of the temporal and inferior retina is nonperfused.
Case 1: Optomap® plus with Resmax™ Fluorescein Anglography Image OD
Case 1 Optomap® Fluorescein Anglography Image OD A large zone of avascularity (from previous occlusions) is shown in the superior temporal quadrant. Avascularity of much of the inferior retina is also revealed by FA, but note eyelashes are blocking some vessels.
